A. A Geriatric Care Managers is a private elder

service.

charge for Geriatric Care Management Services?
A. Our standard charges range from $80 to $150
per hour, depending on the kinds of services being provided.
In general, travel to evaluate facilities is not charged
separately. Ongoing travel times above 30 minutes, e.g.
to visit an elder on a monthly basis, are charged at $30
per hour. All hours and other charges are agreed in advance
of each service, so there are never any unanticipated

A. Yes.I have worked
with the insurance companies on behalf of patients, hospitals
and other facilities and will probably be able to negotiate
their red-tape faster and with better results than their
average clients.

or other partners, that they work with?
A. No. Care-Angel works on behalf of you and your

we will credit it to your account.
|
- Q. Besides providing a place
to live, what can I expect an Assisted Living Facility
or Adult Family Home to do for my elder one?
A. The staff at these facilities assist with dressing,
eating, bathing, moving about (mobility), maintaining
regular digestive functions and making sure tht medications
are taken on time. The staff does the meal preparation,
shopping, can manage basic finances (cash-in-hand), housekeeping,
and daily chores. They will help with telephone calls
and will generally ferry the elders in their care to local
facilities, e.g. libraries and medical facilities. They
will often arrange home beauty care. Most of them also
organize social activities. The level and variety of activities
generally depends on the size and the cost of the facility.
Some have Internet access and communal pets (which have
to be kept safely penned to avoid accidents).
