Dad's Father, ORP Błyskawica's Chief Petty Officer Czeslaw ("Chez") Guzenda in his naval uniform, circa 1940
He joined the Polish Navy in 1932 and served on the Błyskawica throughout WWII, starting as a stoker/joiner and becoming Ships' Carpenter.
